- First, inform your customers that skin care is the foundation of their beauty. Next, order samples. Size up your customers by their profile; your 30+, 40+, 50+ 60+ customers,etc. Order enough samples for each person in the age bracket. Encourage them to try the samples. They are free, and they have nothing to lose. This is a great way for them to try before they buy, and the most cost effective for you, as a rep as well. For more personalized skin care assessments, encourage your customers to complete a free customer beauty profile/questionnaire. You could complete one for them, or have them log into their AVON accounts on your erepresentative site, if you have one. I believe you can print it out, to have them complete it. Not sure, but I believe so. Look in the Beauty of Knowledge section, under Training on the youravon.com website for AVON representatives.
- Next, my customers take advantage of the Trial sizes. You could also start them off with those. Help your customers take advantage of the great skincare promotions AVON has to offer. Each campaign AVON profiles special skin care deals. Once you build your skin care customer base, look for those deals and point them out to your customers. This will boost your sales, not only because of the price, but also, your customers will really appreciate the personalized attention you are giving them. And isn't that what AVON is all about?
